Legend has it that the Planters Punch was first crafted by a group of wealthy patrons of the Planters Inn who gathered at the historic City Market site. Seeking respite from the scorching summer heat, they yearned for a libation that would invigorate their weary souls. Inspired by the exotic flavors of the Caribbean, they blended fine spirits with tropical fruits, spices, and a touch of local charm.
How does it work? Tear open your pack, add about 12oz of your favorite spirits, reseal, and allow to infuse for at least 12 - 24 hours in the fridge. Strain over ice and add a splash of club soda, if you'd like.
